What happens during this PeeTime:
It's a serious moment, and The Post staff feels bad about being scooped by The Times, while they are stuck covering weddings. Ben Bradlee (Hanks) remarks, "The White House has been lying about the Vietnam War for 34 years." He tells everyone to get to work and do their jobs.

Cut to Kay Graham (Streep), talking to her daughter about their lives, the past of the family newspaper, and their relationships with political figures. Kay says it's "hard to say no to the President of the United States."

Ben pulls up to Kay's house and asks for a copy of the study from Bob McNamara. Ben gives her a hard time, although she says she can't hand over a classified document from her source. He replies, "Our source, Katherine." He says she has an obligation to the public. They argue about who has pulled punches with their high-profile connections over the years.

Cut to Ben in his car, in front of the newspaper building, where there is an anti-war protest going on.
